Love, Rosie – Cecelia Ahern

I keep thinking that my Romeo is standing on the pavement below my window calling me and throwing stones up to awaken me from my slumber. Then I remember that it’s Saturday night, one o’clock in the morning, the pub has just closed, drunken man are shouting their special order over the counter, and the stones against my window are the rain. But a girl can always dream. (Rosie)

Rosie: Is it a date?
Katie: No! I couldn’t date Toby. It’s Toby! We’re just going to catch up.
Rosie: Whatever you say Katie dear.
Katie: Honestly Mum! I couldn’t date Toby, he used to be my best friend, it would be too odd.
Rosie: I don’t see anything wrong with dating your best friend.
Katie: Mum it would be like you dating Alex!

Dear, Rosie
Today I love you more than ever, tomorrow I will love you even more. I need you more than ever, I want you more than ever. I’m a man of fifty years of age coming to you, feeling like a teenager in love, asking you to give me a chance and love me back.
All my love,
Alex

Selamat membaca.
